In a village in the Korean countryside in Jeolla province, an old woman of almost 100 years has just died. For three days, her relatives and the villagers are gathered to accompany the deceased according to traditional customs and rites. Everyone tries to play the role that their family or social position requires in such circumstances… except for her old dog who doesn’t seem to understand the reasons for this sudden agitation.
